Food Aid
"A plate shared is a life spared"
Food insecurity:
“The inability to secure reliable access to affordable, nutritious food.”
Food insecurity is a major problem, plaguing countries affected by poverty and conflict.
9 million Syrian Refugees, 1.5 million people in Yemen and 920,000 people in Iraq all require emergency food assistance to meet their basic needs.
These refugees have suffered unimaginable times such as witnessing the death of their loved ones or losing their businesses, income, homes and security etc.
Imagine being blessed with everything and then having it all taken away in the blink of an eye?
Imagine having to send your children to sleep hungry almost every night… This is the reality of millions of people around the world.
The Solution:
International Medical Relief Agency (IMRA) has teams on the ground who are committed to eradicating hunger by providing that relief to suffering households through food pack distributions which is only possible thanks to your donations. Distributing food is not just about satisfying hunger but also about improving the health of children so that they can concentrate, stay motivated and succeed when learning.
£60 provides a family of five, food provisions for an entire month.
Donate today and IMRA will facilitate the safe delivery of your food pack.

Orphan Aid
"An orphan cared for is a future repaired"
There are at least 140 million orphans worldwide and approx. 5.1 million who have lost both parents.
The most frightening thing for a child is losing the loving arms of those that cared for and nurtured them without any conditions. To live the rest of their lives without the hands that fed and clothed them, the warmth and comfort of parents who kept them safe at night.
The Solution:
We cannot bring back their parents, we cannot change what happened in their past but we do have the power to change their future.
Our orphan fund is dedicated to ensuring each child is able to make strides for a better, brighter and safer future. Your contribution will help to provide a child with shelter, food, medical aid and an education.
Donate today and IMRA will ensure each child benefits from your donation in the most effective way possible.

Water Aid
"A life without water is a thirsty existence"
An estimated 790 million people (11% of the world's population) are without access to a clean water supply.
Every minute a newborn dies from infection caused by lack of clean water and exposure to an unhygienic environment. Every two minutes a child dies due to diarrhoea caused by dirty water and poor toilet conditions. In total, around the world up to approximately 443 million school days are lost each year because of water-related illnesses.
Living in frightening times is knowing that every sip of water you or your loved ones take is one sip closer to death. Imagine the water you drink, wash with and do wudhu with contains potentially fatal substances such as faeces, toxins, bacteria and even if you were willing to risk using the water, imagine that you were not even able to access it sometimes as the water source dries up in certain seasons. This is the reality for villagers who travel miles with their children, just for dirty water even if it means disrupting their child’s education.

The Solution:
IMRA are committed to helping change the world of water by providing fresh, clean water in the neediest of areas. By building a sustainable water supply in the worst affected areas, the population will be able to grow their own food, stop the spread of infection and diseases and therefore flourish. With your help, IMRA will install water pumps and deep tube wells inside villages which will be used by thousands of people every day. Being able to source water locally, means a child can just focus on being a child. Water sources are tested before installation to ensure the cleanest water is supplied and wells are maintained to Its highest standards.

Training Centre
"Work gained are hands unchained"
Over 60% of male members in each household have passed away as a result of the Iraqi conflict.
The responsibility is then on the widows and orphans to become the main income earner just to survive. This is the reality of so many of the families who have lost the male family member in their household. Many orphans are forced to walk the streets selling scraps of metal, vegetables or become rubbish collectors. It is common for mothers to go with their children to dustbins to scrounge for left-over food, no matter how rotten.
A widow once said: "We all search the bins for food, we all beg by the roadside. When the richest women here only have a bowl of rice, what choice do we have but to starve and wait for your Sadaqah?”
IMRA will be supporting an existing training centre in Iraq that runs training programmes aimed at both widows and older orphaned children. The centre trains them with the skills to become plumbers, electricians, mechanics and tailors.
Donate towards a course today and break the cycle of poverty.
