Over £100,000 equipment donated – Indus Hospital – Karachi

Indus Charity Hospital is 150 bedded hospital and is a unique project in a county like Pakistan. Every patient is treated completely free irrespective of his or her status. The hospital is run by charitable donations from rich industrialists mainly and provides a very high quality service for patients who cannot afford it. Since 2009 until 2016 IMRA team has performed over 70 Major Ear cases on extremely poor patients.

IMRA has donated the following:

  • 3 Microscopes
  • extensive Anaesthetic and Paediatric airway equipment
  • 3 Nerve Monitors, Colposcope
  • 3 Audiometers and various surgical instruments and appliances worth totalling £100,000
  • over 700 Hearing Aids worth approx. £10,000
